My 7 year old daughter has been asking to play guitar for a few years. We decided to give School of Rock a try and are so glad we did. The Rock 101 program has made her more confident. She was nervous to try the band rehearsals at first but now loves them. She has also tried drums, keyboard and even vocals. Kyle and the instructors are so kind and encouraging. Highly recommend if your child is looking to try something new and gain confidence in themselves.

My 9yo started guitar and the Rock 101 program at School of Rock East Hartford this year. He’s having a great time and learning more efficiently than previous music lessons. The kind and responsive teachers make the space inviting and fun and there is effective use of group settings and technology to enhance engagement and learning. I feel safe dropping my son off for lessons.

School of Rock may have just opened but my two kids can’t stop talking about coming back every week. Friendly staff and a great program using all of your typical “rock band” instruments. I think we have a drummer and pianist in the family.

I love SOR for The excellent music instruction, the teachers, the SOR families, the camaraderie, and just all over fantastic rocking out awesomeness. Best decision I ever made was to enroll my son in this program.

Great outlet for kids to play music with lots of other kids in front of an audience. It builds confidence as well as ability. The staff is great too.

The teachers are so caring and inclusive of kids and all their learning styles. I’m just 4 months, my 3rd grader has learned so much — and absolutely loves the community!
