Just loving what my son is getting out of the program, skills, confidence, and mostly fun!
The excitement, confidence and knowledge our son has gained from his instructor and band members
Our grandson started initially with a summer camp at School of Rock. He fell in love and we couldn’t believe how quickly he learned. We began lessons that fall and we see constant improvement as well as his passion for drums has only grown in the year he’s taken lessons. The School of Rock method of combining private lessons with playing in a band really promotes a real love for music.

My son has been taking Vocal and Piano lessons with Music Studio (East Cobb Location) for the past couple of years. He is throughly enjoying his sessions and advancing pretty well. The recitals and open mics help kids overcome their stage fright and perform in front of a crowd which is awesome

An AMAZING experience! My son and his friend went this year for 1 week for the first time and we all were blown away by the caliber of the program and by all of the caring, supportive, patient staff. The nurturance for each student as musicians is impressive. Their passion for the art of music is contagious and my son can’t wait to go back again next year- for 2 weeks this time! Thank you Camp Jam for all you do!!
Son attended Chicago camp, first time camper this year, he says it was the best week of his entire life. We are signed up for both weeks next year!

The Music Studio at Vinings offers music classes in 30 minute increments during the day, evening and weekends. My children are homeschooled so we are able to take advantage of the discounted day spots. We have taken both Piano and violin here.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Music Studio at Vinings! You all have done an amazing job continuing lessons throughout COVID, you have the most wonderful and kind staff, and I have learning so much in just a couple of months of piano lessons. Rachel is such an excellent teacher! I also REALLY appreciate your makeup classes every week. As a elementary school teacher, I get the summers off and I spent every moment with my family (without a keyboard/piano and missing 2 months of lessons). Your makeup lessons are easy to sign up for and I really appreciate getting to pick the different dates and times that are available. The makeup lessons are wonderful and the teachers do an excellent job with figuring out where you are in your musical eduction and they pick up right where you left off. Thank you so much Music Studio at Vinings! You guys are the best!
My young teenage kids really enjoy their lessons here. All the instructors they have had have been great. The studio is well run and everyone is very nice. Glad to have this in our community.
Madeline loves her music lessons. The only reason I am rating four stars vs five, is due to the lack of schedule flexibility. There needs to be another option for makeup lessons besides the weekend. Other than that, you guys are awesome!!
The Music Studio Atlanta has good teachers for weekly lessons. Where this operation falls SEVERELY short is in the production aspect for recitals – properly managing audio equipment and basic instrument set-up. Recitals are the primary platform where students get to showcase their talents, and at a minimum should be managed by competent individuals with audio troubleshooting experience and a baseline knowledge of how instruments should be tailored to each performance. As a parent and audience member, I should not have to leave my seat to hold a kick drum in place for a performer, while the Music Studio staff looks on as if I am a member of their staff. We are beyond dissatisfied and will be taking our money and child’s talent to a more suitable environment where passion for music, professionalism and technical knowledge are on full display at all times.

We enjoy the sense of community. Everyone is very helpful and kind. My child is able to experience and live the life of a musician. He gets not only one on one classes, but also gets to work together with other musicians to apply his knowledge. Great concept!
The list is long! The opportunity to experience music with others that love music too – both instructors and other people — and have them become real friends. To perform different types of rock music, in front of crowds and venues all over metro Atlanta, including responsibility for designing posters and setting up and taking down equipment. Participating in the community – raising money for charities, or just supporting a city by being in a parade. Older children helping younger ones – setting the example. I love that SOR stresses that school comes first and supports parents with this – and expectations to keep grades up are key to participating in the program. All ages and levels welcome – there is truly something for everyone!
My daughter love this place , teachers are great .
Really nice place. Friendly staff who worked with us on getting what we were looking for. My son was hesitant at first. Now, he loves it.
I recently had demo classes for my kids.
Even though I was wearing a mask, the reception lady constantly checked my mask and asked me to pull it up higher. (3times!!) It felt very unpleasant and disrespected. She kept following and cleaned up all the handles that I touched..
Also my daughter lost her ear plugs during the class, and one of male teachers were upset at her because she lost her “nasty” ear plug with germ. She came out crying. I FELT SO UPSET AND UNCOMFORTABLE HERE.. ( you can only drop your kids and can’t go in there)
Why do they even open the business, if they are that concerned.
If you are that concerned to make your customers uncomfortable, shut down your bussiness until all this ends!!
My eight yr old daughter was so upset at the end of camp this week. She was given no musical or vocal instruction after spending a week at the Johns Creek School of Rock in Georgia. It appears that they put way way too many students in the class to really do anything worthwhile….good for their profits though. She had been so looking forward to going and was so upset that she wasted a week of her summer vacation and learned nothing.
