How much fun is this! A terrific path towards learning an instrument…. proving the School of Rock is for all ages (I’m 56)…… my son, 10, inspired me…
Total blast.
My son (12) plays drums, and my daughter (14) plays guitar. We’ve been going to SoR Natick since late February and they are having a great time.
It is expensive, especially with two kids going at the same time, but if you count the 2.5 hours a week of rehearsal time + the .75 hours a week of instruction time it comes out to about $23/hour ($325 a month divided by ~14 hours/month). Granted they are not playing for the full 2.5 hours of rehearsal time, it’s still a good value if you consider music store lessons are $25-$35 for a *half* hour.
The performance program also encourages the kids to practice more often then when they were taking individual lessons. If you value working as a team as a valuable life skill, but your child is not a team sports kind of kid (or maybe you’re not a team sports kind of parent…) SoR is a great program for them to learn work as a team while building a skill they’ll have for life.
I have been learning electric guitar here for 2 years best session of my people here are so nice and helpful

My Son looks forward to his lessons every single week! He has been very motivated to play his guitar with a mission to constantly improve himself. This has had tremendous impact in giving him a positive self esteem. I’m truly glad he has joined SOR and they certainly have my continued support.
My son started here in 2015. His love and passion for music has grown so much!! The instructors and staff care deeply about their students and are extremely patient. If you have a chance, check out any Schools of Rock, you won’t be disappointe.
Very professional!
Unfair and whilst going I never felt very welcomed
Greenwood Music Camp
Address: 32 Harlow Rd, Cummington, MA 01026 , Mutare , Massachusetts , United States
Never been a place like this. Best camp evah! You know who I am and I WILL DESTROY YOU at ping-pong
an isolated place where everyone walks barefoot and plays instruments in tiny practice cabins and then they play games that involve things like pretending to kill a fellow camper and then trying to figure out who did it or trying to find hidden treasure while young adults bang on the walls in the middle of the night
It’s a very nice place. Teenagers reject the social construct of footwear and play classical music in tiny wooden cabins. Occasionally we play games where people pretend to be dead or where we have to cut a grown man’s beard with impressively dull scissors at around 9:30 PM. The only punishment basically ever given is taking the trash out at night. It’s a great place unless you forget to wash your dishes immediately after you use them…
this place took nico from me

My son has been learning drums at the SOR for 2 years now. Ben is such an amazing teacher and makes it just wonderful to understand music. Dave and Kim are excellent to work with as well. Anytime, the schedule needed a change, it was a breeze. They are pretty easy to get in touch with too. Overall, my son had an amazing teacher and his love for music had only improved since then. Thanks folks !
Great place- everyone is friendly and nice. I am very happy I signed my daughter up here.
This is a haven in the suburbs of Providence. Definitely check it out! They are warm and welcoming to musicians of all ages.
The creativity occurring within the walls of this school is inspiring.
A bit pricey but fantastic teaching methods
Cool place

My son loves the format, can’t recommend this method enough, he’s very engaged and enthusiastic about going to lessons! The owner Mark and his employees are very nice and accommodating to my son and I. We highly recommend School of Rock Burlington!
Our kids had a blast at School of Rock camp with Mark, Celine, and Hannah. I cannot recommend this method and team enough! our kids had no real music experience and came out of the camp excited to learn more and hone their new skills as music lovers. Thank you!
Bach to Rock

Kid friendly classes in all instruments with many time choices
My daughter loves rock music and it is fun to see her following her passion. Being in a band has given her an opportunity to learn about the importance of commitment; how to work as a group; and that each person’s contribution is valuable. She has gained more confidence in herself. She has recently started taking private lessons at Bach 2 Rock with her Rock Band teacher. The one on one time is helping her grow in her instrument.
My daughter loved this place from the first time. She wanted also do summer camp there. Teachers are very knowledgeable and caring. Front desk helpful and amazing. Totally recommend it
