This is an amazing place!!!! I have a lot of special memories from Camp Ozark♡I’ve been coming here for family reunion almost every year for 23 years and it’s been fun every time!!!!
After paying my deposit for my child in March and her then being on a wait list as number >150 for 3 different weeks I decided in May to get a refund on my deposit and find another camp. I was greatly disappointed to learn of my $300 I would only get $250 back as Camp Ozark keeps $50 for application fees . Well I have called 3 times to try and get my $250, on May 2 spoke with Jaime said my deposit was headed my way then on May 23 I spoke with Mary Francis who seemed disturbed that I was upset about not getting my refund and also spoke to Margaret that same day May 23 who let me know my refund was on its way. Well here it is July 28 and myself nor the bank can find any refund from Camp ozark. And guess what nobody wants to talk to me when I tell them what it’s regarding I am put on hold and sent to a voicemail. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this Camp…. I asked when I called if they offered scholarships and they let me know real quickly they only offer scholarships to people living in Montgomery County. Well how many people do you think CaMp
Ozark has made $50 per application fee off of let’s just say 100
Kids and they do 12 weeks a summer… If 100 kids don’t get to go because they are on the wait list and never get to go parents loose $50; the way I figure it that’s about $60,000.00. That’s a nice amount of money they are making on kids that never attend their camp in Montgomery County.
(100 kids X 12 weeks x $50) and yes my kids was on 3 wait lists. I believe #171, # 152, and # 102. This is just my opinion but I would avoid them at all costs.

Excellent! The staff were extra friendly and my daughter loved her uke teacher. Also a great setup inside. Each room has their own camera so you can watch the lesson from the waiting area which is always kept nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this place.
They are efficient, patient and encouraging. All the stars.

I was visiting in North Little Rock, and went out to eat. While our meals were being prepared, I asked the guy behind the counter where the Presidential Library was. “Oh,” he says, “you mean Bill’s Double wide. “Yea,” I hesitatingly said. He said, “All you have to do is go South across the river and look for a double wide looking building.” The guy should be a tour guide. I couldn’t have been given better directions. As you go across the river, just look for that Double wide. You can’t miss it. To be honest it is one of the more impressive buildings in the Little Rock area. The place is huge. I mean it is the biggest double wide I ever saw.

We went two hours out of our way in an RV with a tow car. The roads are too narrow. They had allowed the local civics club to park in the RV school bus area , no place to park. They told us to wait an hour and we could get in
But we could not wait in the bus turn around area. Bummer. Poor communication. Poor staff skills
Place felt fake and stupid. Much like the rest of the city.
Episcopal Collegiate School

Great school with individualized attention for each student.
Excellence teachers, curriculum, and overall atmosphere.
Episcopal Collegiate is the best fit for my son. He loves his teachers, classmates, and everything else. As a 5th grader, he is able to play various team sports with his schoolmates.
Well, its good for some people, but not for me.
My daughter attended ECS from K4 to 4th grade. I pulled her out 2 weeks before the end of her final semester and placed her in a different school. I don’t think details are required. Leaving with two weeks left speaks volumes.
Second Presbyterian Preschool

The university has gone straight up in the past 10 years. They have established one of the top 3(possibly the very top) engineering and have partnered with a great medical school(UAMS). The money they have been given helped to secure talented professors and great staff.
Past that though, they have started to recruit high end students and provide scholarship money for all. For example, I received a full ride plus some spending money as a result of my “high performance” (read as standardized test scores). Be aware that, like most other state colleges, most awards are based off of test scores and having above a 3.5 in high school.
Overall, the school has a bit of a bad rap around Arkansas because of what it was over 50 years ago, but it has become a competitor for the best in state college and is definitely still headed up.
Serene shaded paved paths weave through nature, sculptures, and buildings on campus—and, of course, you’ve got to see the fountain.
Went to women’s basketball game. Facility and people were excellent!

Beware of there loop holes. And the teachers are not there to teach and help you be successful in college. Pick them wisely
There are a few great professors here, but they cannot save it from being the worst University in the world.
UALR doesnt just abuse the position of authority they have, they make sure to make more rules or excuses about how there is no responsibility for students needs. Do not study here unless you believe that college professors and administration should really be no help at all.
