School of Rock is AMAZING! Brandy and Mandy are wonderful and strive to promote a great learning experience while having fun. My son is excited about every drum lesson with Aaron and Saturday group lessons with Dave are a blast! We have had only positive experiences with the entire staff! Rock on and thank you all for helping grow my son’s love for music!
Cool school, amazing staff, my son really likes it….. I strongly recommend it!!
The Best place to get rock
Instructors and staff are excellent. Good environment

My son absolutely loves going to lessons & band practice. The instructors are excellent. The atmosphere is very welcoming & supportive for young musicians.

I like that the curriculum has theory built into it along with teaching the kids how to play songs. It’s keeping my son motivated to practice and remain interested. Playing with other students and instruments can be intimidating but the environment hat Rock 101 offers has been a confidence booster. Great experience overall!
Summer Camp is so much fun for my guitarist! It brings out the little rockstar in her. I love the energy of the teachers and how they inspire the kids to do their best! I would give it 5 out of 5 stars, but the cost is high for lessons and camp.

Both my sons did a camp, they had a blast and ended up performing a rock song on stage! There staff is also amazing. Totally love the place
Great staff…so happy my daughter found this place as her new home for rock n roll! I Highly recommend them! Bring your kids and jump start their careers in music!
My son did a free trial class and loved it, so we enrolled. Happy to have this as an option right in town!
This school is only for approved white rich people. Horrible experience with the instructors playing favorites. If I could give zero stars I would. All of these five star ratings are from the parents that have been given preferential treatment. Don’t waste your time, and YOUR MONEY if you’re a hardworking middle class family in this school.
Not really impressed with this school. We went for a trial lesson with every intention of signing up for regular classes. The instructor really had nothing to say to me after my son’s class. I had to approach him myself as he was walking away and still he barely said a thing after I inquired about how everything went. Say something man. Anything. The front desk attendant educated me more than the actual teacher. Just left w a bleh feeling. Not signing up.

My daughter loves the zoom voice lessons and her in person band practices.
Great staff and instructors for my bass player kiddo! Weekly online feedback/assignments from the instructors is awesome. The owners are super nice as well.
I am a self-taught guitar player and was in a rut. I joined the adult program 2 months ago and cant believe the impact this program has had on my playing (skill, confidence, playing live). SoR takes safety seriously but it also feels like a community of music when I’m there. GREAT band directors and they know how to bring out each person’s skills in a pressure-free environment. I really wish I had done this sooner.
My son had an awesome time at School of Rock today.
Love School of Rock! The approach of mixing individual lessons with a band of peers and actual performances is perfect for learning and staying motivated. The instructors are great, and the bands have a chance to play venues all over the area. We have been with the school since they opened a few years ago. Our son has moved from guitar and bass to drums, and had a great experience with each instrument. The staff is responsive and friendly, the kids have developed real friendships, and they are playing great music (no hot cross buns played on repeat at this school).
Kind and informative. But not very professional on the phone.

My daughter enjoys School of Rock so much! She loves trying all the instruments and learning fun and relevant songs. Her interest in music has grown and we are excited to see how she grows within the program!
Our oldest “graduated” from SoR Elmhurst in 2019. Performance Groups, House Band and All Stars were a huge part of her high school years. The school really works hard to offer meaningful and fun performance opportunities. Our youngest daughter just started at SoR Elmhurst last week. She’s excited about being able to make music and perform with others in person. The school seems to be taking COVID protocols very seriously. Can’t wait to see their livestream performance in January!
The experience the kids get to perform a real concert in super cool venues is outstanding! This program has changed my son’s life. He has found his true passion in music. Thank you School of Rock!
LOVE LOVE LOVE it here. My daughter won’t stop talking about it. Great space, everyone is friendly and I love the vibe.
Wish a few teachers had a little more training in controlling kids. Some kids like to take control of the class and a couple teachers are too gentle in calling them. It effects class time for others.
Very unprofessional.

My two children have been attending School of Rock for a few seasons by now.
I highly recommend it for all children who love music in any form and shape.
The instructors provide state of the art music instruction accompanied by leadership and confidence training.
As a family, we are very thankful for being a part of School of Rock.
The staff and teachers are always kind and willing to help. They make sure the material you are learning in class is right for you.
My son has been going to this wonderful school To learn drum for more than 4 years. He still feels very excited about every time he goes. Instructors in this school are very professional. They are actual musicians and keen to teach the kids from their practical experience as well as the methodology developed by the school. As the parent, I have evidenced how much the music can turn a kid to better person with appreciation to the world and lives . I am Also very impressed about their theory of learning from live performance. 4 times of live performance with Band rehearsals every week every year provide a lot of fun and joy to the kids and the family. We so enjoyed the live performance and extremely amazed to see how great the kids can play and enjoy.
AnnMarie and Jim, the owner s of the school are Wonderful and taking very good of the school. I can tell they treat this not as a business but their passion to life!
Great school! Wonderful instructors and worth every penny you paid!
They do an excellent job trying to ensure the student experience is a positive and rich one. My daughter loves her instructor.
listened at the show at the library, very good.

My son Dylan played junior guitar for the Beatles session in Summer 2020 and loved it! He was inspired by learning from older players and looks forward to paying that forward if the 2021 Beatles wait list opens up a slot. His parents also loved the video! Needless to say we endorse this great program!
My daughter and I worship the Chicago School Of Rock. This institution is doing God’s work. It took an enthusiastic eight year-old with pop star aspirations, fostered her musical development through devoted and relentless personal attention and live performance opportunities and unleashed a level of ability and success we could never have predicted. It changed her life dramatically, and all for the better.
I thoroughly enjoy collaborating and performing with teaching staff and fellow musicians in adult band. Highly recommend if you’re looking to join a band!

My son is 13, is pretty introverted. He is mostly into gaming, accept when it comes to going to his lessons and rehearsals at The School of Rock. He sincerely LOVES this place and it has brought out so much personality in him. Music, being a part of a band, the teachers, is helping him come out of his shell- and express himself. I can’t wait to continue this journey and watch him have a great time in this positive environment.
We love everything about School of Rock! The teachers are fantastic and invested in their students’ growth in all areas of music and performance.
The staff and the shows are great! The kids make friends and learn to get on stage and they build confidence!

Awesome place to learn and better yourself as a musician! Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and great at inspiring the students to learn music! The School of Rock method is streamlined through professional means to keep that consistency with the successful franchise. The location is very clean, easy to navigate, decor is elevated all around and COVID-19 precautions were in place when it was needed most, still optionable I believe at request. Learning music can inspire confidence for somebody of any age, it’s invaluable and although it could be very tough to learn instruments it can be very fufilling, very good for the brain as well! I myself have taken lessons in the past from private teachers all the way through college level classes and having the system in place is highly effective, curtailed to modern technology like apps. Pricing is reasonable, the skills for life are worth unpinching any penny. What would I change? Perhaps building a small stage to lift drums off floor in band rooms, T.V in the back lobby, more soundproofing including foam, diffusion and although this is more of a franchise suggestion, adding music studio/production/recording elements to the mix! Also, more raises for the drum teachers!! Great location!

My son, Liam, has been at SOR Evanston for many years (drums, guitar and bass) and has greatly developed his musical and stage presence skills. The performance series shows are particularly entertaining! Since Liam is graduating HS in May, it will be sad to leave SOR but we’re all so grateful for the positive experience and friendships made along the way. Well done SOR Evanston!
One of my sons drums with Mac and the other plays guitar with Zach; they both absolutely love School of Rock. Personally, I like the low-key vibe and how the other students act like it is a clubhouse. Everyone is very friendly and supportive.
ROCK and ROLL
The instructors seem competent and my son enjoys the lessons. I just wish it was easier communicating with the staff. Due to the late-ish hours the business runs, getting an actual person on the phone is potluck. Email sometimes gets an answer within a couple of hours, other times it seems that days go by before someone responds. Their overall attitude is laid-back, which is fine, I suppose, and in keeping with the SOR “way”. I just think they could be a bit more professional and efficient insofar as the customer service is concerned.
If you are thinking about taking lessons or signing your child up for lessons, you should seriously reconsider this location. Find a corporate location that has the proper resources. This place is overall NOT functional and failing.

Staff is great and really know how to keep kids excited about learning and playing music.
We love everything about this place. Both our boys are students. And we love our School of Rock Chicago West community.
They get the kids playing real songs at real shows in real venues very quickly, which is a great way to learn music and build confidence.
Private lessons help build technique, and ensemble classes teach cooperation, responsibility, and showmanship. And it’s all done in a fun, mutually supportive atmosphere.
The staff are very kind, accommodating, and welcoming. And it’s just so much fun to see young musicians grow in ability and confidence.
Send your aspiring musician here!
Great place to learn how to really enjoy and play great music.

I went to a basketball game got in paid after half so the ticket era didn’t have what they needed to mark my hand but when I tried to go in the court I was stopped and not given a refund. They then preceded to let in ten unmarked Dunlap high schoolers and refused to answer why I was not let in and they were. I would give a zero if at all possible

This place is great! My daughter took an intro lesson to see what she thought. Being a teen she was nervous at first and hesitant to go. Came out of the building happy and excited. She loves her instructor and what’s she is learning. She would go every day if possible. They are professional, warm, fun, and friendly. My child loves this place!
They have a cool program where you can do lessons on your instrument or voice. And then, if you choose to you can join a band also which meets there weekly. You get to decide what level you sign up for. It’s been a huge hit with my kiddo! Wish I had signed my older child up years ago.
They offer a really great program and we are so happy a friend turned us on to it!
No one asked for this review- we are just that happy about it.
Just started and i already love it!
Was really good instructor was patient and no pressure at all will go back.
So I took my son for a trial run with a group of kids at this school last week on a Monday at the Madison Rd location, which he was so excited about, so he went in with (i forget her name..jenny?) and he was just excited about all the instruments, it was only him and another boy. I guess my son was too much for her because she said that he was not really focused on just one instrument and kind of all over the place and recommend Music Therapy because she is a music therapist and that an hour was too much for him, ( I was kind of shock and a little hurt that I didn’t even ask her any other questions, but said ok and left) but she didn’t recommend her services for a personal session or anything, so my husband called the next day and asked about the lady (the music therapist) that did the trial run with Aaron if she can call him back and recommend her services or if she has a referral. its been a little over a week and she has not returned his call. I also did tell them in the beginning he has a vision impairment) I just wish someone would of reached out and recommended something because my son loves music and he is not a bad kid.
Talecris Plasma Resources
Address: 1902 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61604 , Peoria County , Illinois , United States
I highly recommend this facility. The employees take care of each other and take care of the clients. It’s a great way to help others as well as make money for yourself
The employees are very friendly and kind.
Good way to give back to your community, save lives, and make a little money along the way. The staff are totally awesome too, so unless you can’t donate, there’s no reason not to
I’ve donated/ sold plasma about a twice a month for 3 years. Scheduling is a lot better recently, and waiting has been minimal for me, and reportedly the same throughout the day. How else can you easily help others with your donations, and make about $18/ hr ($55/ week for about 3 hours time)? The income is not subject to taxes, and you can come in as often you want, or just cancel if you cannot. I have found the staff to be far more professional and fun to be around than I expected to find when I first started.
This rating is based on the 1.) maintenance issues in your men’s restroom, 2.) the quality of counseling for going to two different donation centers “at a time” as stated in your donor agreement.
1.)
The timer on your sinks is not long enough to rinse your hands and does not dispense water long enough to sing the ABC song, the quality of soap dispensed does not moisturize, and your contactless hand dryer timer is not long enough to heat the unit, dry wet hands, is not contactless as long as the user has to reach inside where the sensor should be and push a lever down hard enough to trigger the contact to turn it on and repeat until operator’s hands are dry, and is placed on the wall where it causes significant wind tunnel air flow dynamics in the only stall any man can use.
While using your facilities I had to inspect how to operate your hand dryer and instruct multiple of your confused customers on how to dry their hands after washing their hands with the expectation to dry on something supplied by the business they’re patronizing.
Thank you for keeping your men’s restroom clean, but please post instructions on how to operate your hand dryer or an out of order sign, relocate the placement of your hand dryer to an alternate wall AND/OR protect the toilet stall users from draft along the floor with a rubber and vinyl floor sweep stall door extension or something.
Thank you also, for supplying paper towels and hand sanitizer throughout your business, and having management willing to take their time and listen to clients’ needs. I feel heard by your friendly staff and management because they are prompt to serve your customers.
PLEASE IMPROVE HEALTH AND CLEANLINESS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD + by making an effort in this area of your business and I’m sure your patrons will feel the desire to respect your restroom because they will feel you are respecting their BIOLOGICAL AND HEALTH NEEDS and displaying a RESPECTABLE and RESPECTFUL facility.
For many patrons this is their first impression of your facility. There is an air blade unit available which might be a model to consider replacing this unit with resolving the draft issue too.
2.)
If a donor/consumer/patron of your business chooses to exercise their free market consumer rights to donate their plasma at a center of their choosing they shouldn’t face repercussions for doing so based on convenience of access of services due to their schedule.
Customers should have written clarification on the Donor Agreement defining an excluding time period rather than “at a time” verbiage and shouldn’t be permanently deferred as the result of a lack of clarity of said time period on your company’s part when they choose to donate elsewhere and the logic present at the time of the customer’s donating site decision should be accounted for.
Overall you have a very orderly process that can be improved upon, and are willing to help even polite deferred patrons resolve outstanding issues. The management definitely listens to complicated donor concerns WHEN PRESENTED TACTFULLY AND RESPECTFULLY.
Slow an floors on the donation floor are covered in garbage
I went in three times before they accepted me as a new patient. The first time was low iron, but what upset me is they wouldn’t let me make an appointment till I had donated once. After I became a patient I had been turned down for high pulse, low protein, and the way I smelled. My perfume was two much. They turned me away last time because I had bruises they had left on both my arms and one was over a week old. Both of my arms are still bruised going on two weeks now. The flobotmists are very un professional. The first time I donated they didn’t tell me if I didn’t put pressure on the wound I was going to bleed like old faithful. I ruined my outfit and it was embarrassing. The first time I actually donated was a 5 and half hr wait. If I get thru screening which only happens less than 50% of the time the wait is not long, but as I was saying when the stick me they always have to re adjust leaving terrible bruising I gave up on it and I e only went three times well 9 only three donations so im still eligible for 50 bucks and my bf is also eligible for there referr a friend bonus but only after he donates again. They kinda trick you to donate im not going back even know my family would benefit 100 bucks not worth looking like a junkie
Horrible service slow as hell not enough employees working and always rather talk versus do their job. Average wait time is about 2 hours for a returning donor which is ridiculous. They even built a new building to help make things go faster but instead they go slower then ever.
Every drug addict and alcoholic in a 60 mile radius is there, nowhere to sit, 3 hour wait, absolute chaos, noise, smell and that’s not worth any amount of money. Last time someone was smoking pot in the ONE AND ONLY BATHROOM. Nightmare! Staff is the epitome of ghetto. If you’re a thug, you’ll feel right at home.
