Kids love it. The camp director Debbie is amazing.

It’s truly a very Greenwood. We play music and also music and there’s music. Don’t go if you don’t like music because this camp is very music. If you play violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, or horn, then you should Greenwood because Greenwood is Greenwood. Don’t come expecting to see green wood, because you will not find any. However there is music and also real life among us on the last week. I met people at Greenwood. They are all very.

I have been learning electric guitar here for 2 years best session of my people here are so nice and helpful
My son (12) plays drums, and my daughter (14) plays guitar. We’ve been going to SoR Natick since late February and they are having a great time.
It is expensive, especially with two kids going at the same time, but if you count the 2.5 hours a week of rehearsal time + the .75 hours a week of instruction time it comes out to about $23/hour ($325 a month divided by ~14 hours/month). Granted they are not playing for the full 2.5 hours of rehearsal time, it’s still a good value if you consider music store lessons are $25-$35 for a *half* hour.
The performance program also encourages the kids to practice more often then when they were taking individual lessons. If you value working as a team as a valuable life skill, but your child is not a team sports kind of kid (or maybe you’re not a team sports kind of parent…) SoR is a great program for them to learn work as a team while building a skill they’ll have for life.
How much fun is this! A terrific path towards learning an instrument…. proving the School of Rock is for all ages (I’m 56)…… my son, 10, inspired me…
Total blast.

Love the premise of School of Rock … combining an individual lesson with the chance to integrate w/ band members of similar musically level. And this works as well for the younger (pre-teen) kids as it does the adults (many of us w/ kids in their 20’s). Mike M is doing a great job managing and “herding” the adult band. Treats us all w/ respect, while communicating the necessary messages of where we need to get better. Love the fact that we get to perform gigs at local bars and breweries.
Love my drum sessions w/ Jake.
For folks who always wanted to play in a Rock n Roll band … nows your chance. Nothing is stopping you. Give School of Rock a call.
The staff of instructors are knowledgeable, versatile, and fun. The school has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, and I’m learning at warp speed. I highly recommend Madison School of Rock.
My son a year ago had never held a drumstick. This past Sunday he was on stage performing with other SoR kids in front of 150 people at a venue that reminded me of college days 😉 It was unbelievable.
His progress over the last 12 months has been obvious and demonstrated.
Brandon, Matt, The Mikes, Grace and Blake are incredible teachers and mentors.
