I just signed up for the Free Trial and am sure I will get the guitar lessons and the band experience. Meredith, at the School of Rock – the Heights in Houston, TX, was awesome !!! In the day of “on-line customer service only”, Meredith was the exception to the rule. Very informative, knowledgeable and quick to reply to my questions ! I made my appointment mainly based on her. I wish I had 100 “Meredith’s” in my business. Well Done !!!
I’m having the time of my life! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very encouraging. I was walking by one day seeing a room full of kids playing and it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. There is no pressure, just a lot of fun letting go and embracing your inner rock star. It’s never too late to go for it!
Grandchild taking guitar lessons and also in their Rewind Performance Group. Awesome place and so welcoming and professional! Check out all the different lessons they offer. Highly recommend them!

Kids always have a great time and West U School of Rock has really sparked a passion for music in them. Well run, friendly plus passionate and inspiring teachers. It’s amazing what they can achieve together!
Great teachers, great program, and very well run. My son tells me how great his teacher is after every lesson, and he has learned a lot in his time here. It’s a fantastic place: check it out!
My 5yo daughter liked the Little Wing class when her besties did it with her. She loved the teachers! As a busy working mom of 4 who spends the majority of life stuck in meetings while wishing for more quality time with the kids, I always appreciated staff’s responsiveness to email. The few minutes saved by this was so appreciated.
The con: They make dropping a class into an inconvenient process, and an unnecessary one in my opinion. You have to print, fill out, scan, and email a form to them for processing. I asked for clarification on the purpose of the form and the explanation was “that’s just what we do.” The fact that the simple form could be replaced by a quick email or call is annoying. But more so, it’s the principle of making it inconvenient to drop a class that made for a disappointing ending to an otherwise fine experience.
Womp.
Took my sons for guitar lesson, the attitude from the lead guitarist was ridiculous and rude. He must be having a bad day doesn’t mean he have to treat kids so mean. I judged the book by its cover, my fault. Will take my business else where. The front desk will be all smiles just to get you sign up, once done we end up in a hole. All the gimmicks about band performance is useless, your money will be watered and your kids will waste their precious lifetime here learning nothing useful. Those glass rooms and fancy colors are trap. Pretty Dark.
ME** HEADS IN THE PLACE OF TEACHERS Don’t fall for the advertising, protect your kids!!!!!!!!!! If your kids wants to be treated as kids this is not the place. No one has proper training to teach kids here. Disappointment assured.

Our son (10) has weekly electric guitar lessons at School of Rock Pearland. He enjoys the lessons and always has great things to say about his instructors. The atmosphere is great for him as it has boosted his confidence and opened up his world to music.
We took our 3 year old twins to try a lesson. The entire team was friendly, inviting and very knowledgeable about their program and how our children could grow in each area. We signed them up for a month of lessons and can’t wait to experience more with this location!
