School of Rock in Madison has been an amazing experience for my daughter. She’s learning electric guitar and had her first band performance yesterday. It’s amazing to watch her, she’s gained so much confidence since she began. The instructors and staff are all so supportive and positive, it’s a pleasure to be a part of this rocking community.
I know many parents who’s kids have gone through Madison’s SoR program, and each of those kids have taken music with them into adulthood. They all had nothing but glowing things to say about their time spent in the program.
I recently enrolled my daughter into the program with wonderful teacher Walker DesTroismaisons. I am so happy we are finally able to become a part of the School of Rock fam as well!
School of Rock has been an amazing experience for my son. In the past year I have not only seen his skill as a guitar player and musician sky rocket, but also his confidence, as well. Having a show to look forward to gives my son motivation to practice, an opportunity to bond socially with band members and work together as a team, and a genuine sense of accomplishment and pride following the performance. Before school of rock, my son enjoyed playing guitar and was taking lessons but did not know how to apply that skill within the context of a band, with other musicians. Giving him the opportunity to participate in School of Rock has been well worth it.
My son a year ago had never held a drumstick. This past Sunday he was on stage performing with other SoR kids in front of 150 people at a venue that reminded me of college days 😉 It was unbelievable.
His progress over the last 12 months has been obvious and demonstrated.
Brandon, Matt, The Mikes, Grace and Blake are incredible teachers and mentors.
