So, this was a 5 day morning camp. My child made many new and like minded friends…she had a wonderful time. There was an adoreable recital at last day of camp. The ladies are very nice….and they seem to enjoy the kids very much. My child loved camp…and liked both ladies.
It was advertised online (and in a phone conversation) as a working camp. No way to really tell how that went…as…
We were never provided with a syllabus, or schedule of any sort regarding daily activities…or camp goals…etc…and we were not allowed to remain there in order to see the activity, ever. It was a strictly drop off/pick up arrangement. There has been no recap or assessment regarding our child’s work…progress… or places she might like to focus on improving…since end of camp.
There were a couple of young teens….majority of campers were very young….and it appeared that the more experienced and novices participants were all lumped together.
Seeing that we werent allowed to have any insight into what was happening…
It would be extremely hard to make a fair assesment about rating the camp on what, if anything, we feel our child learned that appears to be even slightly equivalent to the money we spent.
Totally didnt love the 3 hr wait each day in Watkinsville…Watkinsville is a really nice little town (emphasis on little)….having said that….hasnt got much to offer to do to kill 3 hrs from 8:45 AM – noon….5 days in a row.
