We love Camp Rock! Our daughter has been attending camp for the past 2 years and she loves going to Camp Rock. She comes home happy and tired everyday. I love that her summer is filled with fun, sun, and water while getting tons of exercise and no screen time. The staff (especially Ms. Julie) is really organized, professional and they offer a great variety of activities for the kids. You can tell that the staff truly loves kids and really cares about their well-being. I don’t have to worry about my child’s care during the summer because I know she is in good hands at Camp Rock!
Camp Rock is an amazing place for your family!
Great great place to send your kids! Everything is extremely comprehensive… from the finance end for parents to the day-to-day activities for your kids, everything is thought out and so much care is put into little details. Love it!
Unfortunately, my son will never try it because we were told different things. No accountability and no supervisor available. It just is what it is and I’m glad I got this treatment at first before money was paid. Because we’ve been through too much already to deal with this. And it resulted in him never being placed in the camp. Less than 12 hours ago I was promised a spot then later on I was told they have a very long wait list and won’t accept campers. How ghetto lol… we are attending CAMP SONSHINE INSTEAD. Which has more activities and they are ALL included for less. I just hate the unprofessional dismissive and rude thing when dealing with people. A reply was sent to me about a family restitution program I know nothing about that and the payment is made directly with cash the behavior was unprofessional and ethical and working in such a manner will not sustain a healthy business relationship community relationship I have a good rapport with the community I did speak to someone else they also had a bad experience prior to enrolling and if they knew they were booked since June they should not have giving me false information. Nonetheless I’m very grateful and I’m thankful that God saw fit for us to be somewhere else that I know is gonna be a lot more professional and deal with me accordingly. The reply that was given was more of a passive dismissive reply and it does not fit the situation that is going on with me or that happened to me. And I’m just learning that it’s a nonprofit organization yet the price is ridiculous and they have volunteers and they charge $35 for less than an hour of a horseback ride which you can get a lot less expensive and you can buy packages at the horse stable and the JCC camp does the same if not more and better things for anybody that wants to stay local And they have several horseback riding camp that you can get a larger discount and not pay so much per day just to ride a horse $35 is ridiculous however I still wanted to give it a try based on some of the reviews I’m not sure if the reviews come from family church members or friends but I highly doubt that they are all honest .
Poor customer service, and little more than a landing page for a website. No ability to remit a deposit or payment online. In 2021…
I spent 4 weeks calling their “office” on the days they are open (clearly this is a moonlighting gig that someone is running off the side of their desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays) and leaving messages after attending their open house.
Last week, I finally got through and spoke to the director. After being put on hold 3 times over the course of a 15 min call, I found out that they still had open spots for summer camp. I then asked if they had experience with gender nonconforming children, and she got very quiet. I was then told “we do not have any experience with ‘that sort of thing'”. 2 days later we received a letter in the mail, informing us that their “board” had rejected us.
Praise Jesus Christ for his tollerance and mercy, and let the proprietor’s someday find him and his grace.
