Our son, Ethan, has been practicing with Shawn Pfaffman at the FCSOM for over four years. Shawn has a unique way of letting the kids express themselves and grow. Ethan has learned so much as a musician and a young man. We are so thankful that Shawn and his school, FCSOM, are such a big influence in Ethan’s weekly schedule. Ethan is currently enrolled in weekly lessons and is part of the Tone Revival Rock band. Ethan loves playing the guitar and I truly think that Shawn has encouraged Ethan in such a way and shared his passion for music that has far exceeded our expectations as parents. How many 13 year old kids are in a band? Have songs on iTunes? Can go home and write an entire song from start to finish? None of this would have been possible for Ethan without Shawn and FCSOM.
