My child enjoyed Rock Camp so much. Next year we are def doing two weeks. The theatre camp was JAW DROPPING AMAZING. Intimate way to see your child shine! She also really wanted to try the art camp which we are thinking for next year! This camp is truly awesome, she loved the instructors + students. Everyday she looked forward to going!

My son loves it! Collaborate with other young musicians to write, play, and perform. Such a good experience and such fun for the family to watch the final performances.

Great set of instructors that keep you engaged and excited to continue learning. Learn the songs you love not the songs from some book that nobody really wants to learn. Staff is very nice too. Can’t go wrong

Lots of fun, great staff, great teachers, I really like it!
Great music program for kids and adults. Makes learning an instrument fun for my kids and lets them learn the instruments they are interested in.
The best thing that happened to my family. Love it!
There’s a lot of kids in these programs… some work harder than others and it’s clear they have their favorites. If you’re not one of them, it will just be an average experience, so don’t be fooled by the high ratings. Unless you really push for it, don’t expect much.

Awesome place and instructors. My son is learning so much and loves it here
My daughter did the Band Camp they offer and the experiance was fabulous – To see how in 1 week they came together and performed together is a testament to the instructors and how great the school is – I would recomend if your child is interested in music go and see them – Schools in West Haven and Wallingford
Rockhouse is the best place in CT to take lessons. We have been to a number of places around the state and none of them compare to Rockhouse. The growth I have seen in my daughter in the past year is incredible. The owners / instructors are not only awesome musicians but treat everyone like family.

OMG. Saw these talented young people at the Palace Theater last night for the Kenny Wayne Sheppard/ Buddy Guy show. I walked in Halfway though the very last song and immediately paid attention. They are so good so early in life. God Bless all those gifted young and old souls that have such great talent.
Has been an awesome experience for my son. He’s learning so much and becoming more comfortable trying new things.
Enrolling our daughter in School of Rock Ridgefield was the best thing we could have done for her musically. From day one her instructors have helped her get better and better. I highly recommend SOR Ridgefield to anyone who wants their child(ren) to learn in a supportive and challenging environment.
Neighborhood Music School
Address: 100 Audubon St, New Haven, CT 06510 , Poquonock Bridge , Connecticut , United States
The best place to learn about music, listen to any kind music and attend a wonderful event that supports good cause, which is to fulfill a child’s wish to play music.
Horrible teachers. One of the violin teachers would yell at me for not able to catch up like her other students. She would also dis-encourage me telling me that i wasn’t meant to play violin. Then she would tell me that i was the worst student she ever had and i should just quit. The other staff is very friendly so i will give it a 3 star.
When my family had moved back to New-Haven my son wanted to continue to play violin. The school he was attending in New-Haven didn’t offer string instruments. He was recommended for the Instrumental Impact program. He received 1/2 hour lessons once a week from a wonderful violin teacher Mark. The only issue I have is because my child is in this Impact program he Cannot change his instrument “EVER”. I think this is absurd! why force a child to continue with an instrument when he wants to venture and try other options. My son is discouraged now and doesn’t want to continue with the program. Music was a very big part of his daily routine and I feel bad that I cant afford to pay for the piano lessons that he wants. He told me not worry about. I did leave a message with the director Mr.Bloom and someone from the office called me and told that there was nothing Mr.Bloom could do about it. I really wish my sons school had a music program because it is a very important part of his life as it is for all children. So, sadly my son will not be apart of this program anymore. I urge parents to make sure they know all the information and ask more questions when enrolling your child in a program at NMS Impact program. I wish I had known this before he enrolled 3 yrs ago so he wouldn’t have to be discouraged now. As a parent ,when a child has a positive interest , you try to do everything you can to encourage and support that interest. Its very hard when the Odds are against you !!
Attended as a youth. Did not fully take advantage of the opportunity. Awesome place. Many courses offered. Slightly expensive.

School of Rock Seekonk is the best! My son started 3 years ago and he has learned so much and his confidence is growing. The entire team at SOR Seekonk is great!!
My daughter loves school of rock! The instructors are awesome, and school of rock offers some really great programs. My girl is excited to start Rock 101 and I am excited to hear these talented kids play a show!
School of Rock Farmingdale

My teenage son has always shown musical inclination but we didn’t have a direction for it. We originally thought that he would take up drumming, however, after receiving a guitar from my Uncle. My son chose the guitar. I’ve known about the School of Rock from seeing them do group performances. The registration process was easy and they really focused on his abilities. It isn’t all about learning guitar, they focus on his abilities and incorporate his great rhythm into his playing. It gives my son the confidence to keep playing and he has really impressed me with his commitment. They keep him on track, which as a Father is important to me. He still drums around but has also found a love for the Guitar. One note: The fact that they play a lot of Rock Music I am able to relate to the music he is playing (which is fun) and have shown up to their gigs with my family & friends, which is great all on its own to see my son doing something tangible with his skills. I recommend the school & the programs that Mr. Camp offers.
My 4 year old grandson Myles shares his birthday with Ringo Starr. He absolutely loves playing the drums and is totally into the School of Rock in Farmingdale! He asks his parents every week if he can go to the School of Rock instead of his regular school!! It’s a great place!!!
Great fun place for youths to learn and play music
Our son had been playing drums since the age of 5 at another drum school when he joined SOR at age 7. His playing had gotten better every year, but the SOR added a new level of fun and training for him. He now eats, sleeps and dreams about drums and enjoys every lesson no matter which school he goes to.
My kids have attended School of Rock Farmingdale for well over a year. The staff and manager are always very friendly. I’m a musician myself so I can tell a professional musician from a “weekend warrior.” The musicianship of this staff along with the way they interact with the kids is top notch, you can tell they really enjoy teaching which is something I haven’t experienced at other music schools. I’ve seen great improvement in not only my childrens musical abilities but also their social skills since placing them here. I would totally recommend this place to anyone’s who’s serious about their children learning music the right way.
Boulder Ridge Day Camp

Amazing this is the first camp I’ve ever had real friends in for more than a year! I love all of the staff and everyone there the activities are so much fun and we always have a blast! I’m so happy I’m attending this year even if it is my last as a camper I hope to come back as a CIT though
The facilities are great! I visited as part of a school outing, and I have to say the place lived up to my expectations. The map on the website was somewhat deceiving, but the sports areas and pond were excellent and as described on the website. The new zipline was a great addition on top of the climbing tower. My only regret about this place: the only way to get to the zipline was via the climbing tower (and i am a terrible rock climber). : (
My nephew went here and niece worked here and neither liked the experience. My nephew thought it was boring and didn’t like most of the staff and my niece said the administration cared more about how the camp looked than the kids and staff. My family will not send our kids there again and we will encourage other families to do the same. I am upset I paid the amount I did for my nephew to go just for him to have a bad time and upset with how they treated my niece as an employee. I recommend not sending your kids here or even applying.
Owner is an extremely disrespectful human. Would never bring my kids near Evan.
horrible, administration does not take care of their staff and kids. they only care about how this camp looks and it is DISGUSTING. everything in this camp is unsanitary and it needs to be stopped.

We love the team aspect of the performance bands. And it’s more fun to watch him perform than sitting on sidelines. It has been amazing to watch him gain confidence on stage and make friends who also have a love of music
We love the rookies program! Julianna is amazing with the kids. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is a safe, clean establishment. My son looks forward to class every week and so do his parents!
The School of Rock has developed kids interested in music into talented musicians. It exposes them to a variety of music genres and grows skills and confidence. We have been a School of Rock Port Jeff family for nearly 10 years….and counting!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. They currently employee a man by the name of EJ GIBNEY who took the liberty of attempting too touch my niece between her legs. She is 11. The authorities helped however I would like everyone to know that this ISNT the first time he’s done this. Google search his name and find the articles about him in TikTok.
Might wanna get rid of ej gibney. He shouldn’t be around your kids. Please do some research and check on this man. He shouldn’t be around kids.

I love the School of Rock for my children due to their warm, personable, and enthusiastic instruction!
super fun place to learn, good teachers and being in a band motivates you to practice!
They have been amazing. Always a positive experience when we are there. My daughter is learning so much, so quickly. She has fun all while learning. During Covid they make sure masks, distancing and hygenine guidelines are followed. Definitely worth every penny
Update Sept 2023: The Norwood School of Rock fell apart in Spring 2023 due to actions of the owners. Big staff and leadership turnover. They are currently trying to get back on their feet. I ended up leaving due to the culture shock.
Original review: I am learning drums and am part of the adult rock band group at School of Rock Norwood. Combining the lesson with the group is a great way to stay motivated. The group is chill and accepting of all of its members. The staff are zany, super smart, and talented. They get you playing, giving just enough theory and exercises to get you good enough to play, mixed with lots of playing real songs from day 1. Thanks for making my day, School of Rock Norwood!

I Really Liked It before I Took Karate, And I Still Do!
My son started at the School of Rock in Attleboro when he was 15 and has been going to programs there for about 2.5 years. I cannot say enough good things about this place – it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers and managers are kind and patient. It’s by far the best activity that he’s ever participated in – highly recommend.
My son is very shy and reserved. He struggled with the first few weeks to even get into the room. At home all he talked about was his drum lessons, so I knew it was something he wanted to do. The teacher and the rest of the school of Rock staff were patient with him and tried many different ways to help him get comfortable! 3 months later and he is thriving and practicing at home! He looks forward to his lessons every week!
