I have appreciated how much B2R has accommodated virtual lessons!
Everyone is very friendly and supportive. The teachers motivate the kids to continue to grow their skills. We love coming here.
Amazing and unique birthday party! Beyond our expectation. Kids can explore instruments and feel very special when they perform on stage or record in a studio. Recommend to any kids who love music.
Bach to Rock Northbrook they just pretend have music guitar teacher. A teacher must degree a school of music not to learn music from internet. My son was there for almost a year. If you ask what they did in one year they print a chart with what they supose to do but didn’t. He even can’t play a short guitar song but they said he is awesome. When I discuss with my son he told me most of the stuff he never did there but they mark like they dis. Don’t spent your money for title of the school. Find a school with real music teacher.
Bach to Rock contracted with another local enrichment center in the area to provide a music class for young toddlers (about 10-20 months). The first class was what I call a playdate. The instructor did not engage the children at all, spent 10 minutes taking attendance, and didn’t seem to care about teaching. Another teacher, Mr. Quinn, taught the second class. He played guitar, which was nice, but he had no clue how to interact or what to do with this age group. The third class was a different teacher. She read a long story, tried to do limbo, and was 5 minutes late. I would absolutely not recommend taking any classes through this organization. They have no idea what they are doing and are completely unprofessional.
Don’t do business with this music school..
My son was in a band here for 4 years…Recently the guitarist in band hurt his wrist!
I told them to pause my payments as it wouldn’t make sense to show up to practice missing one of the band members…
They literally told me, band practice is not canceled and you need to show up as you will still be charged!!

My granddaughters have being going to Campanella Children’s Choir since 2011. They have other activities too, but Campanella Children’s Choir by far is the most interesting and interactive activity. Both granddaughters were too shy to perform in front of large audience, but since they started singing in a choir and later solo, they are no longer shy when they have recitals. The outstanding knowledge and outmost care and support for each child from director of Campanella Children’s Choir, Marina Kosaya, really what makes us come to every recital and participate in different festivals.
My daughter has been attending Campanella choirs for over 6 years now. She has made a great progress in singing, met new friends, even developed her communication skills. The quality of the musical education is unparalleled, and we love it that the choir gets to participate in many prominent venues around the Chicagoland and in the international festivals.
We have been members of Campanella Choir for 4 years. My daughter loves her choir and private singing lessons. Staff is very creative, talented and dedicated. Each performance is a work of art complete with signing, acting, and art created by students. Kids get to perform at various competitions and events through out Chicago Land. School puts a lot of effort into expanding kids’ exposure to arts by organizing trips to Lyric Opera, CSO, and other musical events. Love the school and would gladly recommend it!

I am a self-taught guitar player and was in a rut. I joined the adult program 2 months ago and cant believe the impact this program has had on my playing (skill, confidence, playing live). SoR takes safety seriously but it also feels like a community of music when I’m there. GREAT band directors and they know how to bring out each person’s skills in a pressure-free environment. I really wish I had done this sooner.
Good infrastructure and ambiance
Great staff and instructors for my bass player kiddo! Weekly online feedback/assignments from the instructors is awesome. The owners are super nice as well.
My son had an awesome time at School of Rock today.
Love School of Rock! The approach of mixing individual lessons with a band of peers and actual performances is perfect for learning and staying motivated. The instructors are great, and the bands have a chance to play venues all over the area. We have been with the school since they opened a few years ago. Our son has moved from guitar and bass to drums, and had a great experience with each instrument. The staff is responsive and friendly, the kids have developed real friendships, and they are playing great music (no hot cross buns played on repeat at this school).
Kind and informative. But not very professional on the phone.
