We are so thrilled with School of Rock in Highlands Ranch. My 7 year old son has been going here for just over 2 months now, learning drums. He’s learned so so so much in the short time he’s been there, and he’s loved every minute of it. The owners are so supportive of all the kids, and his personal instructor Christian is absolutely amazing with him.

School of Rock Ft. Collins is the best music program in Northern Colorado for every age and skill level. The instructors are amazing and provide excellent support in music training and personal growth. School of Rock makes music dreams come true!
My 8 year old son has been going here for piano lessons since October and we love it! My son is always excited for his lessons with Jesse and he has already learned so much. I would definitely recommend to check it out!
School of Rock Fort Collins is a very special place. Donna is wonderful and all of the teachers are stellar, both as musicians and instructors. My 15 year-old has been playing guitar at SOR since last August and loves it. He has played in an 80’s music show and will be performing in the Metal show. My 4 year-old loves the Little Wings program-they learn about rhythm, instruments, and rock icons through games and songs. School of Rock has been a nice constant for my kids throughout the pandemic and we cannot wait to have the opportunity to see more shows at local venues.

My kids have gotten a ton out of the programs at this school. I signed them up and liked being there so much that I took keys lessons, too! So awesome! Great vibe, great staff, clean, cool place to hang out and gain musical confidence and skills. Thomas puts his whole heart into his students and the whole staff cares so much about the kids.
I used to sing a lot as a little girl and up into high school, but then I got married and life got busy. I was looking for a place to get my vocal skills back, and I found it here. The open-mic nights are laid-back and there is a ton of fresh talent. I’m so grateful to have found such a good musical community to be a part of.
Not open when I was there.
The owner of this location, Thomas is one amazing individual! He and his staff and extremely passionate about music and teaching others. This location is an inspirational place to be no matter what age, skill level, instrument or genre you may want to learn, they will give you the knowledge to create music all while making it fun and understanding how to work with different types of learners.

Friendly awesome staff and instructors! Definitely respecting covid restrictions while still managing to be awesome!
Best place in the world where kids can learn and play music! My kids have the best teachers!
Ours kids love rocking out at School of Rock Denver! They are learning so much about music- lyrics, instruments, and performance. The teachers are so encouraging and really help the kids feel confident on stage. I also love seeing the older students help with the younger ones.
Its sad to see the lost passion. If you want your kid to be technically capable then this is the place for you. He’ll get good attention and care. But if you want passion for music then its probably not the place…they care more about money and virtuosos then bringing out the love of music in kids.
Had a negative experience after asking owner to pause my membership, charged my card for 2 months after I asked to cancel my lessons. Got my money back and was told the mistake would have been caught by an audit they were doing, but felt annoyed that I was the one to notice it.
I didn’t find answer on my question about Rok-n-Roll dance (!)school or studio
The most entitled, dramatic group of kids I’ve ever met. Most of them come from well off families and walk around like they run the earth because of it, and others just come there to meet people to have sex with. It’s not a very good program, and hasn’t been since the new manager arrived. The House Band is a disgrace, with only half of the members being able to hold a candle to the last generation of House Band kids. School of Rock puts you in a bubble and while it may seem like what your kid is doing is cool, it just stunts growth in the music world. The only people who ever really come out to the School of Rock shows are the parents. If you’re thinking of putting your kid in School of Rock, I would advise you to instead have them take lessons there for a while, maybe do one show to learn some band communication skills (although nowadays that hardly even exists at School of Rock and people would much rather just say a sarcastic comment about you) and try to find people to play with. And if you think you might be able to start a band with other School of Rock kids, good luck. School of Rock teaches you to play covers, not write original music, so most School of Rock kids are inept.

An amazing place. My son feels so cool about being a student of SOR. He loves all the teachers, his friends, his band, and the environment there. The staff is amazing. they are not only fun and cool also very responsible and careful. You rock! SOR Littleton
This place is great! My son started drums about a year ago and has done amazing. The instructors and staff do a great job communicating and providing excellent instruction. They had to transition to online lessons for a while but are back to in person learning now. Online was a bit of a rough transition for everyone but I felt they handled it as well as they could. Their procedures for keeping the staff and students safe from COVID are exceptional and strictly enforced, which I really appreciate.
Overall I can not recommend them enough!
SOR Littleton is amazing. The instructors are clearly enjoying themselves as much as the kids. Alex especially really cares about making sure it’s a fun, welcoming, and safe place for kids to come and have fun, be themselves and rock out!
We have had a horrible experience with their remote online lessons. We signed up two kids (one keyboard and one guitar) and have given it almost 2 months of time, in which, they have yet to learn or be given a single song to practice. We have never been sent a copy of the Method book either. Every week the instructors get on and tell them to practice chords and scales but don’t assign any music in which they could practice chords and scales within. We have reached out to the school numerous times to try to work through these as we know we are all struggling to adapt to the CoVid 19 world but week after week, no changes are made. This is a total waste of money for beginners. The school does not deliver the services for the money you pay.
