Excellence teachers, curriculum, and overall atmosphere.
Great school with individualized attention for each student.
Episcopal Collegiate is the best fit for my son. He loves his teachers, classmates, and everything else. As a 5th grader, he is able to play various team sports with his schoolmates.
Well, its good for some people, but not for me.
My daughter attended ECS from K4 to 4th grade. I pulled her out 2 weeks before the end of her final semester and placed her in a different school. I don’t think details are required. Leaving with two weeks left speaks volumes.

I have had a incredibly positive experience, during my time with School of Rock. The staff has made the decision to take classes easy, and has worked well accommodating my schedule. I was nervous to be an adult taking classes, but I haven’t thought twice about it, since I’ve started. Thank you!
Great program for the kids. Instructors have great attitudes and are clearly very good at what they do.
Its for advanced kids. If you aren’t already taking lessons there, you may feel out of place.
My 11 year old asked to quit after day-2, citing his low skills on guitar.

This is a real art school for both adults and children. We have the opportunity to explore many different forms from print making to charcoal to acrylics. Oscar is a total professional and a fantastic teacher with all levels. The school also provides your supplies, so this is a great value for the money. If you are interested in doing art, I highly recommend The Atelier!
Oscar is incredible at what he does! My daughter absolutely loves going to his classes and looks forward to it every week!
Amazing atmosphere! Amazing people! Amazing skills! Everything about The Atelier is amazing! Oscar is very friendly and is very supportive

Just an amazing place with wonderful instructors. An entirely different approach to learn, music, and performance )ĺlll>>u
My daughter has expressed an interest in pursuing a career in music The school of rock has given her the experience of performing and collaborating with other like minded teens under the guidance of instructors who are also active in the Memphis music scene. In addition to learning a lot she has also made some great friends
What do I like about School of Rock Germantown? Everything! I’m meeting other musicians and performing at the end of a season of lessons. The adult band I am in just played the Hard Rock Cafe and it was awesome. My guitar teacher is talented and fun to be around. And Ken, the franchise owner, works very hard to make sure all the students get a great experience at the school.
End of camp concert was poorly planned and not well organized. Seating was horrible and there was no program or agenda. We got notice last minute of the concert date, time, and location itself and I had to request my son’s instrument be turned up because it could not be heard at all during the concert!

This is an amazing place!!!! I have a lot of special memories from Camp Ozark♡I’ve been coming here for family reunion almost every year for 23 years and it’s been fun every time!!!!
Two of the best weeks of my year for eight years straight. Had a great time and made plenty of friends. Sam Torn has the whole summer camp thing down to a science.
After paying my deposit for my child in March and her then being on a wait list as number >150 for 3 different weeks I decided in May to get a refund on my deposit and find another camp. I was greatly disappointed to learn of my $300 I would only get $250 back as Camp Ozark keeps $50 for application fees . Well I have called 3 times to try and get my $250, on May 2 spoke with Jaime said my deposit was headed my way then on May 23 I spoke with Mary Francis who seemed disturbed that I was upset about not getting my refund and also spoke to Margaret that same day May 23 who let me know my refund was on its way. Well here it is July 28 and myself nor the bank can find any refund from Camp ozark. And guess what nobody wants to talk to me when I tell them what it’s regarding I am put on hold and sent to a voicemail. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this Camp…. I asked when I called if they offered scholarships and they let me know real quickly they only offer scholarships to people living in Montgomery County. Well how many people do you think CaMp
Ozark has made $50 per application fee off of let’s just say 100
Kids and they do 12 weeks a summer… If 100 kids don’t get to go because they are on the wait list and never get to go parents loose $50; the way I figure it that’s about $60,000.00. That’s a nice amount of money they are making on kids that never attend their camp in Montgomery County.
(100 kids X 12 weeks x $50) and yes my kids was on 3 wait lists. I believe #171, # 152, and # 102. This is just my opinion but I would avoid them at all costs.

The adult program is excellent. We have a lot of fun, but learn so much in the process. Can’t recommend enough!
My Autistic grandson was welcomed into School of Rock with open arms. Being a drummer is his life. Thank you School of Rock for teaching and inspiring him.
We love the Nashville School of Rock! From the various performance programs and private lessons to their spectacular shows showcasing some of the best music by talented and inspiring students young and older–there is something for everyone at NSOR. The instructors are all talented musicians who make learning to play an instrument fun, and they focus on encouragement and keeping the stress out of challenges when learning a new song or struggling when learning a particular technique. The staff are wonderful–welcoming, professional, and attentive to any issues that arise. Finally, we are very excited to see the expanded space being added to the NSOR to accommodate more practice rooms and band performance areas. Full disclosure: I stand behind all of the above, as my child and myself are both students so I know first-hand of what I write.
The program is good other than if your child gets sick the same day of their lesson you can not make it up due to the 24hr call cancellation policy which I think is unfair because if the staff is sick you have to reschedule the lesson so this means that the staff continues to get paid while you lose money. I also called and spoke with two different staff and asked if the lesson could be made up and both staff’s said I’m sorry it cannot be made up due to the 24hr cancel policy. Plus, you all didn’t offer me a chance to make the class up for an unforseen event or called to reschedule.
Beware of their inflexible scheduling policies especially when they inconvenience you!
My child is enrolled in their program. I decided to enroll myself on the same day, since it is a 40min drive for us and I see it as an opportunity to learn what my child is learning rather than waiting around.
I received a phone a call 2 hrs prior to the classes, telling me that my child’s instructor was sick and they had to schedule a make up session as there was no other teacher available . I asked if they can reschedule mine as well since there is no way for me to find someone in that short time to watch my kid and the only reason I attend is for child.
They refused indicating that they have a 24 hr policy which the normal reasoning makes sense (to protect their employees), but makes no sense when school of rock is inconveniencing me.
I then request to cancel all my classes for which they reminded me of the their 30 day policy so they get 3 more classes out of me and that is fine as I will play by their rules, but in terms of the bigger picture they could have gotten at least 15 more sessions out of me. (Sigh) oh well.
My recommendation is NOT to follow what I did. Especially for those who have long commutes during rush hour!

My daughter totally rockin out at #SORSPRING School of Rock! David and the gang are kickin it & kids are having a blast..huge age ranges!
School of Rock is the BEST! My neice is so happy to be a part of this school. The instructors are top notch and the staff is friendly. I would recommend School of Rock to every parent who has a child that has that inner musician inside!
David was a great find
Absolutely disappointing.
We brought up our concern, discomfort and feelings disrespect with the fact that it’s 2023 and they still think it’s okay to play racist songs and the owner responded that the song was not “that racist” treated us as snowflakes and proposed a “compromise” that required me and my family to continue to feel offended and disrespect while they continue to run their business racist as usual.

My son started taking drum lessons at SOR 3 years ago. His friends joined after seeing him perform at rock camp. They were impressed with how fast he was able to play songs after a short time of lessons.
The three of them have grown so much since they started. They just finished their 4th performance group concert. You can see them getting better and more confident on stage. When they started performing, they were nervous and afraid to mess up. However, their confidence has grown tremendously! They have loosened up and are having a great time playing music that they love.
My son enjoyed playing sports, but he LOVES playing music. Sports became too competitive as he got older and the adults took the fun out of it. At SOR, the opposite is true. The instructors help build skill and confidence. The other kids in the group encourage each other and make it fun for all.
I highly recommend School of Rock Lafayette!
Everyone at School of Rock Lafayette s so friendly and the vibe is great! Ursin is the best guitar player around and his guitar lessons are the best you can get in Acadiana. The shows the students put on are top notch and so much fun!
Fantastic place for private music lessons and group options! Their shows are great. A wonderful experience.
Terrible school. The teachers are young teenagers – individuals who cannot pay proper attention to teach a lesson for 30 minutes. They consistently walk in and out and talk to their friends during a 30-minute private lesson.
Union Station
Address: 1400 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR 72201 , Little Rock , Arkansas , United States
Like many other old great train stations in the US, Amtrak only occupies a small portion of this building and the rest is now offices or other businesses. The building itself is great, but the Amtrak portion clearly is a little rusty around the edges.
The hours are awkward but match the times the train comes. I guess that’s what you have to deal with if you want to take the train into or out of Little Rock.
The guy running the service was immensely helpful and helped me store bags after my overnight stopover in Little Rock was thwarted by a 5 hour delay on the first train.
during baseball season I ride the train at least once a week round trip and more times than not it is on time weather might affect it from time to time but I’ve never missed a game and we usually get to st louis before the arrival time. I love it my friends love it go cards
Cool place , brings back memories. First time I visited here was around 1969. Somewhat different now with all the renovations. Building still in good shape to be as old as it is.
My husband and I were scheduled to return home and discovered two things delaying our departure; Tonight daylight savings and mechanical issues with train causing a delay.. A total delay time of .2.5 hours. The attendant Damon was very nice and professional in his explanation concerning the delays. Thank you for assuring that we have a wonderful travel experience.
It’s seems secluded and I recommend not just dropping a woman by herself. I stayed till my friend boarded!
It’s an older place and everything moved a little slower, but everyone is always friendly.
Traveled this past weekend to Alton Illinois and it was not a good experience for those of us that were traveling together. We bought lower level coach seating because of the handicapped area, well that was a joke. Anyone can sit there regardless of a handicap and of course the ticket we purchased was for the handicap seating. The first attendant didn’t seem to care who sat there but another attendant did ask the person to move but this should be monitored every boarding to assure a place for the handicap without all the confusion. It was very warm in the coach going and coming. Luggage area was a joke as well. Someone took another passengers luggage by mistake (??). This was my first and last trip by train. Perhaps it was because of spring break that it seemed really crowded and uncomfortable.
Station opens for passengers only after 10:30pm so if you’re from out of state and checked out of your hotel on your way back home you are SOL since almost every shop in town is closed by evening. If you find yourself unsure where to go, there is Vino’s about a 20 min walk away with food, drink and power outlets open till 11pm. I’m definitely disappointed that the station doesn’t have any coffee or travel conveniences (or even modern cushioned chairs for long waits when trains are delayed, even your local DMV has better seats!) but then again Amtrak is a struggling business.
I am disabled and I had to walk to the train, needed red cap service but they didn’t have any got to the train and needed assistance to get on the train and no one was there to help me get in the train almost fell back out of the train, when I got to where I was getting off there was no one to help me to get off the train but my brother saw me struggling and help me off ,mind you I only have one arm I can use and my legs are not strong I use a cane, when I order my ticket I ask for assistance, but didn’t get it
