My son has been a student at S of R (both the Cinci & NKY locations) for over 3 years and has loved it. Not only has he become a very good guitarist, he has learned the workings of an actual band, the set up/tear down/sound board of a gig, and has had some awesome experiences both locally and thru touring. Oh – and the staff is beyond wonderful! The time and dedication they put in every day…just fabulous! I highly recommend.
We love School of Rock NKY! My daughter has found her safe space, and grown as a vocalist tremendously. A heartwarming, inclusive environment at School of Rock NKY for artists of all ages and backgrounds. Looking forward to the future as the school, and artists continue to grow. Would highly recommend!!
School of Rock NKY is an amazing place. My child has learned so much in her time here and continues to grow both musically and socially. It’s a place that your child is accepted as who they are and allowed a safe space to express themselves.
I worked really really hard at this location. It’s a place for kids and teenagers but honestly the staff were the ones with the biggest messes! I took my time , pulled out their desk , which would have piles of popcorn , candy wrappers, sticky were coffee would be all over and they would leave it to dry. very detailed, really gave my all. It was never noticed instead it would be “not happy, along with a pic of a dust ball I missed in a hidden corner. The nit picking continued and I am now without a job. The staff has never been friendly, always negative and seemed to look down , I wouldn’t even go until they were gone so I didn’t have to feel uncomfortable. I def won’t be bringing my son to this location now.

Great program to start kids. Not aggressive, compared to some other studios, but also well structured and disciplined. Very generous scholarship program for those qualified and easy online tuition/bill pay options.
I’ve been dancing here for about 8 years, and it’s been great. Great classes, great teachers, great training, grate cheese.
My daughter came to her love of dance late. She didn’t start really dancing until she was 12. She believed she wanted the “competition” dance, and we tried it for a few years. Dozens of costume fees, recital costumes, competition fees, private lesson fees, class fees … It makes me sweat thinking about it!
The best thing that ever happened to her was leaving competition behind and starting dance with Lexington Ballet. Yes – it’s “only” ballet. But ballet is the basis for all other dance. Lexington Ballet encourages Master classes in other disciplines and offers plenty of opportunities. Last year they brought Alvin Ailey dance from New York for a modern class and an audition for summer intensive. Because of Lexington Ballet instruction to prepare her, my daughter received a FULL scholarship to attend a 6 week intensive in NYC this past summer.
Every instructor at Lexington Ballet is a current professional or has been a professional dancer. Luis (the artistic director) and Nancy (the school director) Dominguez could phone it in and have others teach. But their dedication to their dancers and Lexington Ballet is unparalleled. Nancy has made herself available to assist my daughter with auditions preparation and not wanted compensation. How many dance teachers would require payment for an hour with a student? All that I worked with before LBC.
I’m sad we didn’t start with Lexington Ballet Company. But I’m so glad we are there NOW!
If I could give this company zero stars I would! Do not enroll your child in this program! The “instructors” are NOT interested in teaching their students & would rather demean and humiliate children than do their job! Your complaints or concerns will go unheard and unresolved, from top to bottom this company is inept!
