Son attended Chicago camp, first time camper this year, he says it was the best week of his entire life. We are signed up for both weeks next year!
An AMAZING experience! My son and his friend went this year for 1 week for the first time and we all were blown away by the caliber of the program and by all of the caring, supportive, patient staff. The nurturance for each student as musicians is impressive. Their passion for the art of music is contagious and my son can’t wait to go back again next year- for 2 weeks this time! Thank you Camp Jam for all you do!!

We enjoy the sense of community. Everyone is very helpful and kind. My child is able to experience and live the life of a musician. He gets not only one on one classes, but also gets to work together with other musicians to apply his knowledge. Great concept!
Teachers are great. Follow up is strong. Kid is excited to go to class. Curriculum is geared towards what the student is looking to learn – which is good and bad from my perspective, but outcome is that kid is engaged – because our kid seems to know what she would like to learn?- , which is what matters at the end of the day. Seeing a lot of progress in kids ability to play guitar since she joined SOR. Thank you.
The folks at School of Rock, Johns Creek are awesome. I came by to sit in on a practice session for the Adult Performance program and was impressed with how open and welcoming they were, but how professional they were in moving the session forward. I was sold and am in the process of signing up to join the adult program!
Really nice place. Friendly staff who worked with us on getting what we were looking for. My son was hesitant at first. Now, he loves it.
I recently had demo classes for my kids.
Even though I was wearing a mask, the reception lady constantly checked my mask and asked me to pull it up higher. (3times!!) It felt very unpleasant and disrespected. She kept following and cleaned up all the handles that I touched..
Also my daughter lost her ear plugs during the class, and one of male teachers were upset at her because she lost her “nasty” ear plug with germ. She came out crying. I FELT SO UPSET AND UNCOMFORTABLE HERE.. ( you can only drop your kids and can’t go in there)
Why do they even open the business, if they are that concerned.
If you are that concerned to make your customers uncomfortable, shut down your bussiness until all this ends!!
My eight yr old daughter was so upset at the end of camp this week. She was given no musical or vocal instruction after spending a week at the Johns Creek School of Rock in Georgia. It appears that they put way way too many students in the class to really do anything worthwhile….good for their profits though. She had been so looking forward to going and was so upset that she wasted a week of her summer vacation and learned nothing.

What an amazing place for everyone. The staff is so accommodating and caring, and I enjoy my time talking with them and other parents while I wait for my children’s lessons to be over.
The teachers are fantastic. My youngest daughter decided to take drum lessons 6 mos ago, and you would think she has been playing for years now! Her teacher is patient and fun and my daughter REFUSES to skip any lesson! The teachers communicate with her progress after every lesson which is amazing.
I can not recommend this place enough!
Nancy is a great music teacher. She is very expert . Staff are very friendly.
Signed my daughter up for a mini camp while at the farmers market, paid with Venmo that day. When camp time came they tried to collect from me again – kind of disappointing and a valuable lesson. My daughter decided after a half day she wasn’t interested in attending anymore, said her music classes in school cover more than what she had learned in that morning session, thinking this is probably better for a younger audience and not pre/teens.
I take guitar lessons. Overall the lessons are good, but I expected some more methodical way of learning for the beginners like me. Like follow music books step by step to make the base strong first before move to the actual song. I think everyone should be treated like a kid when it comes to teaching. Unless you are making the base strong, no one can be actually successful playing.
The staff and management were less than friendly in handling my inquiries. Lucy is particularly at fault as she was very unprofessional in her dealings with me.

My kids love this place and I am impressed with the staff. I know I can call anytime to ask about my kids progress, my invoice, or anything else. They are prompt and my kids feel safe there with all the precautions they are taking with COVID.
Green Day Summer Camp has been both educational and fun for my kid, plus she’s made great friends! Thanks!
My son loves it! He is super excited to go to his lessons and band rehearsal each week. It is a wonderful, engaging and immersive experience. I am so glad we found school of rock! Everyone there is very helpful and they know each kid by name. 🙂
