Great set of instructors that keep you engaged and excited to continue learning. Learn the songs you love not the songs from some book that nobody really wants to learn. Staff is very nice too. Can’t go wrong

I love that everyone works together as a team regardless of skill or ability and that there are no “cuts” like in sports.
I like the instruction, encouragement and individualism that my children are taught at S of R.
My daughter says her teachers make learning guitar very fun. Not boring at all! She enjoys the combination of the lesson one day per week with the fun social rehearsal on a second day. Good fun while learning!!

OMG. Saw these talented young people at the Palace Theater last night for the Kenny Wayne Sheppard/ Buddy Guy show. I walked in Halfway though the very last song and immediately paid attention. They are so good so early in life. God Bless all those gifted young and old souls that have such great talent.
Enrolling our daughter in School of Rock Ridgefield was the best thing we could have done for her musically. From day one her instructors have helped her get better and better. I highly recommend SOR Ridgefield to anyone who wants their child(ren) to learn in a supportive and challenging environment.

Great instructors and good program. The playing live aspect is a nice bonus.
We signed my 3.5 year old up for the Little Wings program and its been a huge hit! He was a little apprehensive for the first class but the teacher and owner are so friendly that he was quickly put at ease and started rocking out in short order. Parents wait in the waiting room but are able to hear the music and you can tell how much fun they are having as they play everything from Raffi to Old Town Road. The format of the classes is a good mix teaching my son to appreciate music and work as part of a larger group as they collaborate in their band.
As for the facilities they are brand new and very conveniently located in West Hartford center with parking readily available. Just park and a short walk up to the second floor. You can tell everyone that works there is passionate about music.
Highly encouraged for anyone looking to expose their kids to music and make them feel like a rock star.
The staff is phenomenal with kids. They make sure every kid is comfortable and move at their pace. My 6 year old son does private guitar lessons and also does the rookies class with my 4 year old daughter who is interested in drums. It’s only been a month and I love listening to both kids talk about what they’ve learned. Their love for making music has grown tremendously. I drive 45 minutes every week just to go to the School of Rock and it’s definitely worth it!
School of rock, Rocks!!!!

Loved every second of the performance. I’m very proud of the growth your studio has made. ❤️
Nhaopa has changed my life even if I’ve only been there for a few years now. It has taught me how to become a better dancer, actress, and singer just in these past few years alone. The teachers genuinely care about every single student that goes here. The first year I had believed that I would hate it because I never had any experience with theater, only dance, yet the first day I went I felt welcomed by everyone immediately. It’s like a second home to me now, a second family if you will. You get to grow and improve with people that care about you and that you can trust. It has helped me gain confidence while going on the stage because everyone always being supportive of one another. You truly become a family with the people that you meet here!
My Missy started at NHAOPA in late 2015 on a whim and never looked back. She’s learned and grown so much all while having fun and building lasting, meaningful relationships. Through this pandemic, Billy, Neil and the teachers at NHAOPA have managed to navigate ever changing rules and regulations to keep the kids safe and allow them to do what they love. They’ve allowed for some normalcy for my daughter. She’s been able to continue classes, vocal lessons and summer intensive (both virtually and in person). Most importantly, they’ve allowed her the opportunity to be with her friends in a safe space. I’ve always said that my daughter not only found her passion at NHAOPA, she found her people.
